Rooftop Solar system
54.4 kWp installed
Commissioned: August 2017

Located in Pashan, Pune, NCL Innovation Park is an incubation centre for many science-based startups in the city. The energy requirement to house the 68+ ventures at the incubator runs up to around 1200-1500 kWh per day. To reduce their time of the day tariff (TOD), an alternative & economical energy resource was planned. A grid tied solar rooftop system was designed & installed by Gram Oorja to supplement the power grid and save energy costs.
Salient features
- The system can take care of part of daytime electricity demand.
- It will be backed with the grid power; ensuring that the total electricity demand will be fulfilled.
- Designed without battery backup, the system eliminates a major component of recurring cost of such systems.
- Can monitor data & provide graphical representation of generated data.
