The Garhi Energy project brought electricity to 19 government-run institutions
in Garhi, Madhya Pradesh using Solar PV systems. Many of these institutes
did not have any grid connectivity, or were supported by a weak and
unreliable grid. The sites were selected based on energy needs and impact,
with priority given to hostels. A 15-member team of experts completed the
installations in 28 days with support from Aide et Action.
