Since March 2023, in a span of less than one year, Sevavardhini & technical partner, Gram Oorja ensured the installation and commissioning of 13 group irrigation systems in the Bhormal region of Surgana block in Nashik District. With a combined pipeline length of over 13.2 Km, combined capacity of 102.5 HP. These pumping systems will ensure the cultivation of 90+ acres of land that was previously left uncultivated, benefiting over 110 farmers. The project has already led to an increase in agricultural productivity, food security and rural sustainability.
