Solar Microgrid
180+ HH, 49 kWp
Commissioned: September 2022
The village of Daranager in Uttar Pradesh is only about 12 kilometers from the well connected town of Gajraula. Despite this, accessibility is a major challenge because this village is an island on the river Ganga, only reachable by boat. This had resulted in the village being cut off from the infrastructure and development that exists just a stone’s throw away, including a grid connection for electricity.
